When you picture a farm, it’s easy to first imagine the massive tractors that are required to do many of the operating tasks. However, most farmers also have smaller utility vehicles that are great for less demanding jobs or even just for transportation. At this year’s Farm Progress Show, Kubota showcased the new RTV-X, which comes with many updated features for comfort and ease of use. Andrew Pittard, Kubota product marketing specialist, said two of the most prominent features are the updated hood and tires.
Another key feature is the rear bed, which can easily be converted to a flatbed for larger loads.
Pittard said the engine on the RTV-X provides another advantage- it doesn’t require any maintenance.
Pittard added that the hydraulic power allows for all sorts of benefits, like easier power steering and the ability to use implements like snow blowers.
