You may have wondered why the Iowa Corn Growers Association decided to spend time in a hot tent at the World Pork Expo. Grant Meinke, the director of market development for the Iowa Corn Growers Association, said they wanted to show their support for the pork industry. He told the IARN about the important relationship between the corn and pork industries at the World Pork Expo.

The COVID pandemic admittedly made most things a lot harder last year, but we can still apply a few things we learned from it. Meinke said that the increase in virtual communication caused some unique opportunities to arise in our export markets.

Meinke added that we need strong agriculture in crops and livestock, and they look forward to supporting that relationship in any way they can.
