Record yields are being predicted once again in 2024. Now, we may wonder where those yields are coming from. However, what we have heard mostly around the state is that crops look good. People are saying that except for some drowned-out spots, the plants look strong and healthy for the most part.

Out in the western part of the state, you see a lot corn fields that are looking better than they have in years, because of the drought. Western Iowa is home to Hoegemeyer Hybrids in Iowa. We caught up with Eric Solberg, and he talked with us about how their seeds are performing, and what they are excited about for 2025.

Solberg breaks down the results they see from their new hybrids in the field trials this year.

As mentioned, Mother Nature has thrown some curveballs this year, and Solberg talks about how their hybrids have performed.

Solberg talks about what they are most excited for in 2025, and thanks their growers for a strong partnership.
