The Farm Progress Show can honestly be considered to be the ?Super Bowl? for the ag industry. Exhibitors from across the nation and the globe travel far to catch this three-day event, which is chock full of new technology and innovative efforts. Iowa 1st District Congresswoman Ashley Hinson said she?s excited to see all of the new things at the show because she knows just how much they will help out farmers in Iowa and beyond.
Input costs are a major issue for farmers right now, and the new technology found at the Farm Progress Show will be able to help farmers deal with that situation. Hinson said this innovation is exactly the thing that we all need to be supporting.
Hinson also talked about some of the technology that stuck out to her the most.
The Farm Progress Show also provides a great opportunity to mingle with producers and talk about some of the issues they are seeing. Hinson said input costs were the primary issue brought up, but farmers have been facing other struggles as well.
Hinson added that many policy makers were in attendance at the show today as well.
All in all, Hinson said she was excited to be at the show and see the culmination of the ag industry?s innovative efforts.
