GROWMARK & Solinftec partner on new robot technology

by | Apr 1, 2022 | 5 Ag Stories, News

Digital technology in agriculture is by no means something new. However, we continually see tech & agriculture companies pushing the limits of what the technology can do. No longer are we just looking at plant counts and mapping our field. We are scanning each and every plant to make recommendations for their care and needs during any part of the growing season.

GROWMARK has been providing its clients with the best products and services possible to maximize the efficiency of their operations from all points in the business. They know that despite the great crop prices, inputs are also increasing in price. This means that producers need to be more efficient with their investment in the products they need. Prescriptions for different zones are becoming much more prevalent and effective in getting the best ROI on your acres.

Recently they have paired with Solinftec to bring accurate robotic analysis to your fields. Robots that will be able to look at your plants and soil to determine your best course of action.

Solinftec Chief Operating Officer Daniel Padr?o talks about the partnership with GROWMARK in developing this robot technology, and how it will benefit both companies and the farmers they serve.

Padr?o talks about the drive behind this robot project. He talks about the two main goals they are going to accomplish: prescriptions and efficiency. He also talks about the challenges that they have been faced.

Padr?o says that the robot will not prescribe on its own, but rather put its focus on collecting a large quantity of data for the agronomists and the producer to make the most informed decision possible.
