Missouri farmer Richard Fordyce is adding more to his wealth of ag industry experience and heading back to Washington, D.C., as the newly appointed Undersecretary for Farm Production and Conservation. He served in the first Trump administration as the Farm Service Agency Administrator. Fordyce said he’s excited about his new role at USDA.

Being a farmer himself, Fordyce brings outside knowledge to his new position at USDA.

While he doesn’t have any goals set in stone right away, Fordyce said he will take some time to visit with American farmers and ranchers and do his best to represent them.
