The Farm Progress Show returns to Boone Iowa August 27th-29th and this year’s show will once again feature live field demonstrations. The show rotates host sites between Boone and Decatur Illinois and in 2022 poor weather did not allow for field demonstrations at the show site in Boone. This year the field demonstrations will be back for Farm Progress 2024.
The corn for the Farm Progress Show field demonstrations was planted on time this spring and is in good condition and will be ready for harvest at this year’s show says Rick Wild, Farm Progress Show manager.
Not only do the field demonstrations at the Farm Progress Show give potential customers a firsthand look at the new equipment in action, but the show also provides a chance for interaction with the teams that designed and developed the ag implements.
Wild says that demonstrations will take place on the east side of the grounds and shuttles are available to help showgoers on their way to the demonstration site.
He says that the 2024 event will feature several firsts for the Farm Progress Show.
The Farm Progress Show will be held in Boone August 27th-29th.
