FFA alum Aaron Wetzel recently took over as the 2025 Chairman of the National FFA Sponsors’ Board. Wetzel is the Vice President of Production and Precision Agriculture with John Deere, where he’s spent over 35 years. Wetzel said technological curiosity will be a big focus for the board moving forward.
Another important task for the board is to make sure everyone knows they belong in FFA no matter where they’re from or their background.
Wetzel said engagement is another important focus area for the Sponsors Board.
The Sponsors’ Board is made up of top corporate executives who wish to support agricultural education and the National FFA Organization. During their three years of service, board members play a vital role in advising National FFA on opportunities to improve agricultural education programs, secure funding, and seek continued development of the next generation of leaders.
