The Waters of the U.S. (WOTUS) rule could become clearer soon, as the EPA is now taking steps towards clarifying the WOTUS guidelines by listening to public comments. American Farm Bureau Federation (AFBF) President Zippy Duvall said farmers and ranchers are very familiar with the importance of fresh, clean water.
Duvall said the EPA can rectify years of uncertainty surrounding WOTUS.
While there is still plenty of work left to do, Duvall said it is reassuring to see the EPA take the first steps towards providing some clarity.
