Last month, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) released its National Broadband Map. Emily Buckman, Director of government affairs for the American Farm Bureau Federation, said the new map shows location-specific information about the availability of broadband services.
What the Farm Bureau is urging rural residents to do is double-check that map and see if what the FCC is reporting, is accurate.
This map will help determine opportunities for rural areas to get Federal Funding.
