COLFAX, Iowa – The post-Christmas sheep and goat auction in Colfax Saturday saw an incredibly light run of only 111 head of sheep and just 29 head of goats. Feeder lambs brought $2.00 per pound Saturday, with high demand for cull ewes at $1.22 per pound. Prices goats ranged from $112.50-$157.50 per head.
