Colfax Sheep Auction: October 25, 2014

COLFAX, Iowa – Fully 25 percent of the sheep at the last sheep and goat auction in Colfax were over 150 pounds in weigh. Of the 365 sheep sold, 90 head weighed more than 150 pounds; fed lambs brought in $1.61/lb, while feeders went for $1.72/lb. On the 98 head of goats, prices ranged from $77.50-$180/head.
