Colfax Sheep Auction: November 15, 2014

COLFAX, Iowa – The third sheep and goat auction this month in Colfax saw a good run of sheep. With 460 head of sheep sold, feeder lambs sold for an average of $1.95 per pound. Fed lambs brought in $1.59 per pound on average. One hundred twenty-six head of goats were up for auction Saturday as well, ranging in price from $100-$167.50 per head.
