Colfax Sheep Auction: May 10, 2014

COLFAX, Iowa – The May 10th Sheep and Goat market in Colfax had nearly the same number of sheep as the previous week, with 332 head of sheep sold. Feeder lambs fetched the day’s high average price at $1.85/lb. Fed lambs brought in $1.67/lb. The market saw a heavier run of 100 goats, with prices ranging from $88-$142.50/head.
