As Ag groups continue to look back on the year 2020, those in biofuels are pleased with how the biodiesel industry has faired during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Alan Weber is a senior economist with the National Biodiesel Board, which is a national trade association representing America?s first Advanced Biofuel. The group works to create sustainable biodiesel and renewable diesel industry growth through education, communication, governmental affairs, technical and quality assurance programs. Weber described the biodiesel industry as ?resilient? in a recent interview with the Iowa Agribusiness Radio Network.
Weber also gave a preview of some long-term goals for biodiesel. He says those in the industry are working to help biodiesel reach 6 billion gallons by the year 2030.
