If it feels like you see more blue-corduroy jackets around these days, you’re right. The National FFA Organization recently announced that it has set a record with over one million members. The total is now 1,027,273- an 8.6 percent year-over-year increase. Kristy Meyer, communications manager with FFA, says the Organization feels there are a couple of reasons why they hit the one-million mark.
While hitting one million members is a reason to be happy and excited, Meyer said that doesn’t mean the growth will stop there.
States that have shown the largest membership percentage growth this past year are Utah, Florida, and Alaska. For more information, visit ffa.org.
