As we have talked about in the weeks leading up to the fair and during the fair itself, Iowa’s agriculture industry is on full display during the Iowa State Fair. Whether it is the cattle, hogs, sheep, chickens, or Christmas Trees; Iowa Farmers have a lot to be proud of at this year’s event.
Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds is always on the fairgrounds every day of the event. We talked with her about the presence Ag has at the fair and the stories that are being shared with the consumers. The Governor says that one of the many ways we are able to showcase Iowa agriculture is through the many food stands at the fair. Many of them are participating in the Grow Iowa Program.
The Governor talks about these food options and a few of her go-to food spots on the grounds.
