Making improvements not only in environmental stewardship but also from a cost benefit analysis in the countryside and that harvest is basically winding up the opportunity presents itself to at least try a few things. There are many cost share programs available, including from the Department of Ag and Land Stewardship and Practical Farmers of Iowa. Brehm says that some of those advanced conversations involve reducing tillage with options like strip till.
