I recently moved to a new town. Moving means I had to tackle the obstacle of learning a whole new grocery store.
I felt like I was in their for years. I would be in aisle twelve and realize I forgot something in aisle two. The workers had to notice how ridiculous I looked.
You could obviously tell I had no idea where anything was.
As I was dashing from one side of the store to the other I was reminded that this change of grocery store was worth the brand new beautiful house that my husband and I now have.
Change is hard, but change can be good.
Sometimes in the midst of changing ourselves we can seem a bit out of place and maybe even look a bit ridiculous, but change is good.
In your spiritual life, what is something you know you need to change that will eventually be good?
Prayer: “God, thank you for showing me the good side of change. Reveal to me the things in my life that I need to work on changing.”
