This Wednesday, the North Dakota State University Center for Ag Policy and Trade Studies is hosting a conference to educate farmers about the 2018 Farm Bill. NDSU Extension Crops Economist Frayne Olson explains.
?This will be a chance to get farmers and others in the industry to get interested in the opening debate of the 2018 Farm Bill discussions and changes being proposed. Folks from Washington D.C. will be talking about perspective from the Hill. We will also have some farm organizations sharing their perspective.?
Olson says the event will also talk trade and conservation.
?Crop insurance will also be a big piece of the conversation. Trying to look at all of the components and pieces of the legislation impacting farmers and farm income.?
The event starts Wednesday, April 12 at 7:30 a.m. at the Ramada Inn in Fargo.
