The Iowa Ag Expo was held this week at the Iowa Events Center and Wells Fargo Arena. It is the third largest indoor ag show in the country bringing thousands of farmers together to discover the latest and greatest in agriculture innovation and technology from hundreds of exhibitors.
Kent Craighton, Sukup Manufacturing territory manager for Iowa and Missouri, says that it?s important to have a wide variety of products on hand for all types of farmers who may stop by the exhibit.
Craighton says that with labor shortages and a lack of reliable labor, many farmers are opting for improving or increasing their infrastructure for grain storage on their operation.
It?s not just a money consideration when trying to decide on the amount of grain storage on a farm, it can also be a decision made to save time says Craighton.
He says Sukup prioritizes safety and it is important to always be making advancements with safety features.
